These terms govern your use of Uplifty, a desktop application for Windows that monitors posture via webcam and dims the screen when it detects slouching.

The service

Uplifty is provided as a subscription: a 3-day free trial, followed by a recurring charge of $5 every 30 days, billed and collected by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our payment provider and authorized reseller. Your purchase is made through Paddle, and Paddle's own terms of sale apply to the transaction itself.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the app ("Manage Subscription" in Settings). Cancelling stops future charges; see our Refund Policy for how already-billed charges are handled.

Acceptable use

Uplifty is licensed for your personal use. You may not redistribute, reverse engineer, resell, or attempt to circumvent the app's subscription or licensing checks.

Not a medical device

Uplifty is a general wellness and productivity tool. It is not a medical device, and its posture assessments are heuristic estimates, not clinical evaluations. Uplifty is not a substitute for professional medical, ergonomic, or physical therapy advice.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Uplifty is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Uplifty after a change means you accept the updated terms.
